Rosario

Rosario is a native Chamorro woman born in the Western Pacific on the largest island named Guam in the Marianas Islands Chain. In the Chamorro language the island is called "Guahan" meaning "we have".

Rosario was born the day after Christmas and was once told that her name meant a garden of roses. She lives in a beautiful village which has, as one of its patron saints Nuestra Senora Del Rosario or Our Lady of the Rosary. It seems as if the Lord has led her in her life's journey to know, love, pray and promote the gift of the rosary.

Rosario was taught and inspired to make rosaries by her brother-in-law Alfred Anderson. Now Rosario wants to help spread the devotion to this by making knotted rosaries and giving them to all those who would like. She only asks that the rosaries be prayed slowly and with a meditative spirit.

She prays for all who will hold the rosaries that they will be blessed with God's grace. Her daily rosary prayer intention is for peace, love and unity among people, families and nations as Our Lady of Fatima requests.
